Materials Needed: 

You will need the following to complete this project: 

• 1 Mini Charm Pack
• 1/3 yard lining
• 1 FQ exterior (Crossweave Black 12119 53)
• (2) 12" or longer zipper
• 1/2 yard of preferred stabilizer (I'm using Moda's Soft Fusible - MI 101)
• Boxed Double Zip Pouch Pattern SLF2005*

Paper and PDF patterns as well as kits are available in our shop at Sew Lux Fabric or ask your local quilt shop to carry the paper pattern and kit one up for you! 

This project is great for Mini Charm Packs, scraps and leftover Jelly Roll strips! For this example, I am using the new Serena Shores collection by Robin Pickens.

Step 1: Piece the Pouch Pocket

Follow the directions in the pattern to create two a patchwork panel. Then trim to size as directed in the pattern.  

Adhere interfacing to the wrong side and add any decorative stitching or "faux quilting," if you'd like.

Step 2: Attach the Pocket Zipper

Baste one of the zippers RST to the top edge of the pocket.
