Brenda Riddle reminds me of the beautiful English gardens in some of my favorite books.  From Jane Austin to Frances Hodgson Burnett, Brenda, her work and her fabric collections have a timeless grace, serenity and beauty.

Whether she's piecing quilts, doing hand-appliqué, or stitching a lovely cross-stitch or embroidery, Brenda's work is a celebration of beauty, and there will be flowers.  And pink.  It's her color.

When she suggested a cross-stitch band sampler, I confess to not knowing exactly what that meant.  I knew cross-stitch, but a band sampler? 

I should have known it would be perfect.
