Chef's Notes:

This bonus pattern has options for foundation piecing or piecing the triangle sections with templates. Choose your preferred method to make this block!

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1. MAKE CORNER UNITS

Sew the 1½” (2½”) squares together. Press towards the Fabric 2. Sew the 1½” x 2½” (2½” x 4½”) piece of Fabric 2 to the side. Press towards the Fabric 2 piece.

STEP 2. MAKE TRIANGLE UNITS

PAPER PIECED

Using the provided foundations, paper piece four triangle in a square units with the Fabric 1 in the center. Set aside.

TEMPLATE PIECED

Using the provided templates, cut C and D1, D2 triangles. Sew together using scant 1/4" seam. Press.

STEP 3.  ASSEMBLE BLOCK

Join blocks units as shown. Trim the block to 6½” or 12½” unfinished block size.
